New image, new look, same determination.

Maestro* Technologies has undergone a number of changes in the last few months, including in the marketing sphere-changes designed to support our development outside Quebec. It was time for us to take on a more modern and international image.

To achieve this, we hired a marketing consultant to help us renew our branding efforts in regards to our products, our web site and all of our communications. In regards to the logo, a greater emphasis has been placed on the word "maestro". Ever since we launched the company in 1989, we wanted to develop an application that would provide master financial management for our clients’ operations. What better way to communicate this idea than through the image of an orchestra conductor directing his ensemble with a master’s touch, producing great works? And who better than Beethoven, an icon of classical music, to portray this?

Although this idea, this ambition, is still our main goal, we wanted to modify its representation somewhat to evoke a product or service that acts as a true partner rather than an overseer. The best illustration of this is the leadership style of Kent Nagano, conductor of the Montreal Symphonic Orchestra, as opposed to that of his predecessor, Charles Dutoit. To emphasize this new orientation, you’ll notice the "m" in the maestro logo is now lowercase rather than uppercase. Also, the "a" and the "e" have been woven together, symbolizing the strength forged through teamwork-between your personnel and ours, between our application and its users, between our company and our clients. As for the star, it represents the level of excellence for which our company continually strives.

If you have a moment, I’d like for you to take a look at our new web site at www.maestro.biz. We intend to make it a meeting ground-a place where not only will you find pertinent information on our company and our products, but also on other subjects of interest to you. To that end, a new section reserved for our clients will be launched on February 1st. Maestro is in a growth phase, with many other projects under way. We’ll be describing those in upcoming editions of our maestro*LIAISON newsletter, also available on our website. We hope you’ll find its content useful and relevant.
