As part of their work, all of Maestro’s employees are asked to master the concepts that
transcend the functions of the application at one time or another. Simply think about the structure
of the cost of a project, the administrative approach to cost by department or, very basically, the
various approaches for backing up computer data.
All of these concepts are often essential to understanding how your systems work and, more importantly, to properly managing your operations. Maestro will now publish white papers to provide you with more detailed information. The main purpose of these technical description documents will be to provide information on a management method or a method for using various components of maestro*, or on various topics related to using your computer systems. This will provide relevant information that will help you get the most out of your tools.
Different mediums for different types of information
Maestro currently publishes a number of documentation tools at pre-determined frequencies: maestro*LIAISON and maestro*EXPRESS, to which we are adding the maestro*WHITE PAPERS. For us, these three mediums have very distinct functions and do not necessarily target the same audience. To better understand the roles of each of these tools, below is a summary of their objectives:
maestro*LIAISON: Published quarterly, it informs Maestro customers about the company’s news. Over time, it has evolved and now focuses mainly on the future as it relates to general or specific information tasks in construction management. It is intended for a very general audience and is therefore accessible to all on our Web site. You can also receive it by e-mail by subscribing to it on our site.
maestro*EXPRESS: Published monthly, it focuses on how the application works. It is intended exclusively for our customers given that it is a support and assistance tool for new or complex functions in maestro* software.
maestro*WHITE PAPERS: They will be created to make up for a lack of specialized documentation on certain maestro* functions or concepts in the management software industry. Their role will be to describe a function and its concepts in detail to facilitate understanding and increase the effectiveness of its use. Currently, they are reserved exclusively for our customers. The publication frequency has not been determined yet.
The first maestro*WHITE PAPER is now available
For our first maestro*WHITE PAPER, we decided to play the prevention card by covering backups. The article "Your backups: your past and future in your hands" provides a brief overview.
Maestro remains a leader in the construction management software industry. To maintain our position, we are determined to inform you regularly on different aspects of our activities. We hope you will take advantage of these articles.
