Founded in September 1989 by the engineer Robert Meunier, Maestro Technologies specializes in the development of high-performance accounting and management solutions for the construction industry. The original concept was based on creating software that could satisfy every need of construction sector business management. This was in complete contradiction to the approach of the time which offered high-priced, customized development solutions. Maestro’s solutions rested on the vision that technology would become increasingly accessible.

Maestro Technologies initially focussed on the residential sector, then quickly integrated civil engineering, general contractors, service companies, specialized contractors, concrete companies and even manufacturing companies. Adapting to the specifics of various industry sectors, maestro* became the most complete and flexible software on the Canadian market. Driven to help companies increase their performance and effectiveness, Maestro Technologies conceived simple, adaptive and complete interfaces.

Maestro Technologies has extensively invested in emerging technologies. In the beginning, the solutions were developed on DOS, maestro* has since completely converted to Microsoft Visual BASIC 6.

Throughout the years, massive investments have allowed the development of an extremely stable and powerful platform. While Maestro Technologies invested in new technologies, the majority of their competitors just added new interfaces to old technologies. The difference is fundamental.
